With Vista x86 there is no driver signing requirements and some XP drivers will work. With Vista x64 all drivers have to be 64-bit, driver signing is required, some signed XP x64 drivers will work. My Epson CX4800 all-in-one works properly using XP x64 drivers in Vista x64, no Vista specific drivers were released
